Sprint Activation With Ball — full pitch view
The one cue that matters
Full commitment at maximum sprint — half-pace activation defeats the purpose
◆Why this drill works
A pre-session sprint activation raises heart rate, activates fast-twitch fibres, and primes the nervous system for high-intensity work. Adding a ball makes it football-specific. For U12+ squads doing demanding sessions, skipping this leads to injuries in the opening block.
