- Set up 40×30m pitch. 8v8.
- Coach calls intervals: '30-second HIGH!' — both teams play at maximum intensity for 30 seconds.
- Coach calls 'RECOVER!' — teams immediately reduce to jog pace for 90 seconds. Ball stays in play.
- Repeat: 8 intervals of high-intensity play, 8 recovery periods. Total 16 minutes of play.
- Final 4 minutes: free game at own pace. Observe who maintains quality after intervals.
