Rondo 6v2 warm-up

10 min

6v2 rondo with one-touch maximum for outer players after 4 minutes. Focus: first touch opens the body toward the next pass.

Build-out pattern 4+GK vs 3 press

15 min

GK plus four defenders/midfielders build from back against three pressing forwards. Must reach halfway line before scoring. Passive press first, active press after 8 minutes.

7v7 with possession zones

25 min

7v7 with scoring system: goal from a sequence of 6+ passes = 2pts. Goal after a switch of play = 2pts. Standard goal = 1pt. Rewards maintaining possession and using the width.

What triggered our possession losses today? Players identify 3 moments. Coach adds context.

Discipline to keep the build-out pattern under press. Most players will panic and kick long. Hold the standard in the drill phase.
