About sole control drills
Football players coming to futsal often try to use the inside-of-the-foot for everything — that's how they were taught. Futsal demands a different vocabulary. The sole pins the ball where the inside slides past it; the sole stops a roll where the inside chases it; the sole executes the cuts and drags that the close-quarters game requires. These drills isolate the technique deliberately, then build it into game-realistic patterns. They are not optional for serious futsal squads.
