About cool-down activities

End-of-session activities should reduce intensity but maintain engagement. Avoid the trap of asking U9s to stand in a circle and stretch — they won't, and the session ends on a low note. Instead, run a low-intensity ball-circulation game or keep-ball that lets the heart rate drop while the players are still smiling.
